2019 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
And I think Kyler goes off the board first. OSU fans gon' be mad.

He probably will. Someone is gonna be hype to replicate Baker Mayfield's early success and see Kyler as that lightning in a bottle. Whether it turns out to be the smart move or not...who knows.

I'd probably lean towards Haskins, but by no means am I sure about that.

Metcalf has the biggest wingspan for a receiver in the history of the combine?

I’m sure I’ll regret it, as well as get shot down for it, but I wouldn’t mind DK Metcalf at #17.

He certainly looks the part from a size and hands perspective. My thought is that with a guy like Baker, who has shown an already elite ability to progress through reads, you don't need that safety valve type of talent at WR.

However, I start think of some of the tight window throws Bake made this past year and having a WR like that in the red zone going for jump balls tickles a bit.

We've certainly got a lot of young talent in our WR room but we certainly don't have that type of size.

Still think going defense makes more sense but I wouldn't be bothered by this pick either.

Right where I expected our boy TJ to measure.

Ok, you are the gm, on the clock with pick 17, both Devon White and TJ Hockenson are there, who do you pick?

Honestly, probably White because of the value of his position and the depth of the TE class.

But Hockenson is a more athletic version of Jason Witten. He's going to play at a high level for like 15 years.

From the look of things on that pic that was posted he can be played anywhere. Out wide, Deep threat, slot, tight end maybe, defensive end, left tackle.

Guy is a monster, biggest WR I have ever seen.

100% agree, the physical gifts of White though if properly coached up could be amazing.

To me, Hockenson is one of the safest picks in the draft, the guy is a fantastic blocker on top of his receiving skills. Couldn't go wrong at 17 with either in my opinion.

Why? We want Bosa to go to SF not Arizona... And Haskins to go to NYG. This is setting up perfectly for that to happen.

But let's talk Browns. Butler's (ISU) measurements were insane. 6’5 3/8 227 hands 10 6/8 arm 35 2/8 wingspan 83 7/8

I think we have a real hole at LB - hurt us badly especially in the Chiefs' game when Schobert was out.

The addition of some speed and coverage ability back there would plug a major hole.

Finding Tanner Vallejo was like an Army recruiter discovering the perfect tank commander... the year world peace is achieved at long last.

I wonder if he has a really good combine stats wise, if that helps him jump up! How good are his hands?

Hakeem Butler, damn. I've been busy and I am behind on evaluating prospects this year, but as far as actual WR skills go he seems like a better option than Metcalf.

And those measurements are nothing to sneeze at. Really interested in his 40
