I'm gonna say Shaq's son sucks. Good players never have kids that can play ball.. its the ones that suck. Bill Walton - great player.. his son sucks. Michael Jordan - great player.. his kids suck. Patrick Ewing - great player.. kid sucks. Gerald Wilkens.. well you get the point. Now if the father sucks.. seems to work out okay. Kobes dad.. sucks. Kevin Loves dad sucked. Wallys dad sucked.. Wally best cav ever. Tito (appropriately named) Horford sucked. That's my theory.. we can bump this in 7 years.

Good point, but there are some exceptions.
Jalen Rose's dad, Jimmy Walker, had a pretty good career.
Dell Curry, Stephen's dad, was a good 3 point shooter and a 6th player of the year.

BTW, you forgot Rick Barry, who went with quantity over quality with 3 kids in the NBA.

ETA: the jury is still out on the Mychal - Klay Tompson combo and let's see how Austin Rivers does.
