There's just too many young guys getting paid based on nothing but potential.
JJJ has looked extremely replaceable. He's not a defensive guru like many thought he'd be.
I have a feeling this would be Cavs and Garland next off season...There's just too many young guys getting paid based on nothing but potential.

Hey I sorta get what you're saying, but JJJ's extension is a bet on the upside of a young player with untapped potential at an AAV that is less than our bet on a mostly finished product that was universally expected to be a diminishing return. Not to mention the salary cap is a lot higher now than it was when we extended Love.Yeah he hasn't played a lot of games. He has played 126 games compared to Sexton who has played 207. Collin has played an entire season more games.
I love all the people saying it is a steal who have complained about Love's contract and being unavailable.

That’s sarcasm, right?TRADE SEXTON, GARLAND AND TWO UNPROTECTED #1s FOR BEN SIMMONS!
That’s sarcasm, right?
The video of him half assing it in practice with his phone in his pocket. Oh man, I really don't want him as a leader on this team
I hadn't seen that -- he literally had his phone in his pocket?! I mean, it is kind of funny, but that kind of thing naturally is going to piss off everyone else.
