I loved Robert Williams in the 2018 draft. His analytics are insane. I had discussions with Nathan about him.. he hated him. He is the reason the Celtics defense is good.

I like Time Lord, too. He gave the Celtics qualities they really needed.
In the big picture, Boston overachieved. Most of us didn't have them beating the Bucks (Middleton or not), getting to the Finals, taking it to 6 games. They started out slow in the regular season. But they got there primarily on defense. As the Finals went on, Golden State's experience and strengths put the Celtics in their place. They have a lot of work to do on offense. Tatum has a lot of work to do especially on ball handling and decision making. Some of his turnovers and tight window passes under pressure were just egregious and not indicative of someone ready for superstar level yet.
Celtics also need more consistent off ball movement. Want to see Brown do more other than drive with his head down and hit opportunistic shots. I think he and Tatum can do more with good offensive coaching. Udoka kind of seems like a more advanced JBB - great defensive coach, gets players together for a common goal, but offense needs work. I think they can get there, but there's much work to do, and the Bucks won't be any easier next year if they keep the same core group with Middleton healthy.

In fairness Nick Wright and Skip are the two worst "commentators" when it comes to basketball. They are great at talking out of their ass and having 0 actual knowledge.

Eh 2 years ago they were in bad shape. You think this Warriors teams beats any of those Cavs teams with Lebron? I am not sure they could have beat the 18 team.
I'm happy for the parity in the league, but this was a weak finals.

I didnt want them to win but I take solace in one of my favorite non-Cav players and the TRUE MVP of that team, winning another chip

I was really surprised to find out that I hated Boston more than GSW. I’m not even sure I can explain it. Maybe the obnoxious and spoiled nature of Boston sports fans, in general? But Bay Area fans aren’t exactly championship-poor, and they ruined our chance at a dynasty. Maybe I’m just glad the season’s over?
