Okay so our beloved Eason was a solid 7-19, 4th game blues for some of these rooks.
Thanks. Makes me happy.
He had 3 steals and 2 blks though

I didn’t want Dieng, but at least he’s 6’10. Okoro is a 6’4 project.
On a more serious note- https://thewest.com.au/sport/perth-...iety-battle-nbl-rise-and-nba-dream--c-4860729Wait, what??
WHAT???
How did i miss that he HAS A FREAKING BARBED WIRE TAT?!?!
This dude is the absolute perfect mix of memey ironic star power and actual basketball ability. We can't let him go back to Australia this year. I need him here to EASE my pain over not taking Eason. Plant some cartridges on him and give him the Griner treatment to keep him here in the good old US of A.
And for crying out loud somebody get this man a goddamn Trans Am already!!
I also didn't want Dieng, but for anyone who did who is also quick to judge Ochai, I think the logical counterpoint here is that Dieng, a barely 19-year old prospect who represents probably the biggest long-term raw upside gamble in the draft, naturally will be afforded a hell of a lot more patience than Ochai, a four-year college player who was the oldest player picked in the lottery and is presumed to be CLOSER to a finished product than most players in the draft. Some of the people who were outspoken and mad Koby didn’t go get Dieng in a trade are outing themselves in this very thread as people who would never have the patience for a long term upside project like that.

SL is more of a discovery on what you have so you can plan a trajectory.. Right now they are rewriting the plan for Jabari Smith.. Cavs know what Ochai has to work on..I wasnt referring to Ochai, I was just talking about the general judging of players based off of a couple games after these guys jus took a couple weeks off for vacation/end of predraft process and they come to summer league, scrimmage for like 3-4 days and then start playing “organized” games.
It’s the reason summer league isn’t taken seriously overall as a way to predict the future..moreso just to get these guys’ to dip their feet into a more professional environment and work on skill development and learning basic pro game offensive sets.
In re love and the two-man game. I would say same with laurie.Laurie.. Love won't be around for ochai peak, but Laurie could be..Little Klay couldn’t get anything to fall today.
But shooters shoot. Because come real games one night he may only make 2-9 but maybe the next week he makes 5-9,4-9,6-8..whatever.
I love his happy trigger finger . Cavs need that desperately from a young wing that is a good shooter.
I do think there is a lot more space once you get to actual games. I think that helps Agbajk finishing and getting separation.
But it will still be a weakness early on, of course.
Both games Ochai struggled from the field, he started competing harder for rebounds, dropping dimes and ratcheting up defensive pressure. I think they’re going to focus on his integrating those efforts into every single night, even when his shot is on. It’s like when he’s scoring the ball..he gets laser focused on just filling it up and getting bucket after bucket. So the rebounding and hustle stuff suffers a little bit. I think that’s a pretty easy fix for a hard working kid—just a bit of a shift in mindset.
He’s going to feast playing off of Garland and Mobley and Allen…when Rubio comes back…good lord Ricky is going to have him shooting 5 threes in 4 minutes of play.
Him and Love should do some 2 man game work…they could really get a lot of off ball stuff going on where one is constantly open. Love is a good passer. Love is a good screener, and even though he’s a big he has some tricks that he could teach Agbaji..kind of ways to open up your dribble and attack close outs. Both things Love has been great at for a big guy.
Some of the people who were outspoken and mad Koby didn’t go get Dieng in a trade are outing themselves in this very thread as people who would never have the patience for a long term upside project like that.
I feel like you should have followed the group in white in the back to see what type of shenanigans they wound up in.Arrived to Vegas at midnight last night. We gambled a little. Spotted this dude in the picture smooth passed out, living his best life.
