2022 UDFAs

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
While I'm sure all the, um, youthful WRs are nice and all, we can't seriously be thinking of spending a quarter billion dollars and 3 day one drafts for Deshaun Watson and then handing him Amari Cooper plus a bunch of "whosits?" at wideout, can we? Though I much prefer drafting WRs in rounds 1 and/or 2, we now really need to be aggressive in free agency at the position IMO.
I look at it like this. Deshaun Watson is going to be here for 8-10 years. So is this the best WR room he could walk into in year one? No. But it's not all about year one,

And even so, it's a timing based offense. Cooper is a stud route runner. Bell is thought to be the same.

TE, OL, and RB room better than anything Watson had in HOU

Additionally, if you believe that Mayfield was missing reads and missing throws, than how can you completely write off DPJ and Schwartz. Browns coaches and FO have watched those two in practice and games for 2 and 1 year now respectively and they may believe they have more n those two than the fanbase and public thinks.

If he went undrafted with those measurables, he probably catches like his hands are cinder blocks.
It’s more likely his age, as he’s 6 months from turning 25.

I hear you but I really don't want to punt any of the five seasons he's currently under contract and I'm not sold on any of our receivers (including TE) other than Cooper. I like the Bell pick, but he's a rookie 3rd round pick. I haven't seen anything to get excited about from DPJ or Schwartz.

How does Justyn Ross still not have a team? Risk must be close to nothing as a UDFA.

He might not play this season, but I would think he should get with a team like Green Bay, and just hit the IR with them... At least I would advise him that way...

Isn’t his spine like, extremely fucked? I read one article suggesting he’s one severe tackle away from being paralyzed. Prob not worth the risk..

He had surgery on his back and supposedly a spinal fusion for a hernia... he may be to far past playing, but if he still wants to play, I think someone will at least bring him in for medicals

If Ross isn't going to play this year, GB may not be the best situation. He comes back in 2023 and that is Rodgers' age 40 year playing and GB should be a strip down rebuild once Rodgers retires.

Naw, Jordan Love is supposed to take over once Rodgers retires, so its not like they are without someone who is supposed to be a starting QB. Whether or not you have faith in Love is another matter...
