Let's save the political debates for the political section. And yes, this holiday is clearly a political topic.

Maybe it's more noticeable because of how young and likable (not to mention successful) the other major professional sports franchises in the city are, but this team is getting to be pretty unlikable off the field.

Whining about another team going for it on fourth as being disrespectful. The constant sniping in the media between different members of the defense. Myles trying out for the next Fast & Furious movie, directly leading to him missing a game. Obviously all the stuff going on with Watson. The list goes on and on.

Yeah, this whole ‘disrespectful’ thing is fucking hilarious.

After blowing the Jets game in historic fashion, the fans are ‘disrespectful’ for booing.

After watching the Browns pass D get shredded all year in crucial moments, it’s ‘disrespectful’ to go for it?

It seems like Staley didn’t respect his own defenses ability to stop the Browns from getting into FG range and felt his best chance to win was with his offense. I probably would’ve punted it myself, but I’m not really sure he even made the wrong decision in the moment even though they were a missed FG from losing the game.

Anyway, he better get used to teams disrespecting this run defense until we do something to stop it. I’d imagine the Patriots are just going to trot out the same gameplan they used against us last year until we do something to prove we can stop it.

I would’ve went for it too. We hadn’t stopped them virtually all game.

The funny thing is we finally got aggressive defensively when the game was on the line and they only needed 3 yards to win it. That’s when we finally decided we wanted to not allow them to have chunk yards for free.

Laughable because we should be playing defense like that ALL game, not just when we need to do it to win.
