2023-2024 Cleveland Guardians Offseason Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Tito at 64 years old can always step in after a few years away from the game if health permits it. He will eventually get an itch but... only if the time is right I'd think. If the team is complete, and the only thing lacking is the glue of Tito, I will bet on something taking place.

Godspeed to Tito though. Get healthy, enjoy the golf course.

He will likely be a special assistant to the GM for awhile lol

Does Logan Allen’s advanced stats say he had better numbers than he should have? Thought he was solid for being a rookie.

Williams and Bibee set the bar too high apparently. Allen just turned 25, perfect 4-5 guy to have in your rotation. Do they not think he’ll improve?

Allen's question mark is his pitch mix...

He had a plus Changeup... Decent Sweeper... and So-so fastball and not so great cutter...

Essentially he is solid as a 5 starter, but if he doesn't improve the Fastball and Cutter he will end up a reliever (on paper) in the long run...

Aka he's gotta find one more pitch to mix in the Fastball, sweeper and changeup mix. Right now, it's been the cutter and the slider (very rarely).

Best trade chip the Guardians have.. Young, controllable with "some" success at the ML level.. Improvements to his game will be incremental.. His value will be no higher than it is right now..

Truth and the ability to see what a guy "can" become.. is this..

Meh - I don't see why we should see Naylor play RF anymore. Other than that, not too shabby.

If Naylor was an average RF defensively it solves so much for us. Too bad he is far from even average defensively.

Interesting. You could trade him for a nice young bat and try to sign a vet starter if you arent that high on him.

Too bad Naylor broke his leg, he was not awful in RF. He simply didn't have the range of others. His arm was quite fine while in Right.
