2023-24 Playoff Series #1 | Game 2 | Magic @ Cavs | April 22, 2024

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I can live with George missing shots in a virtually blow out game. He has shown from the regular season that he also has a stretch where he shoots almost 60 percent from three. Need that moving forward.

Garland, though, damn. Those TOs are really his trademark for all the wrong reasons.

His approach needs to change. He is not an explosive and strong guard to take guys off the dribble. He should hunt for those threes and use that gravity to attack.

That good albeit limited stretch in that game should be his blueprint moving forward. When he starts to aimlessly dribble and penetrate is when all the TOs/bad shots happen.
Haven't read through the thread but the Cavs lost momentum twice with Mitchell out and Garland running the point and making bonehead decisions. In fact, Garland dribbles too damn much for my taste and gets himself in difficult situations because of making bad decisions. Seems to me that Garland does not get Mitchell involved when he's running the point but it's the reverse with Mitchell running the point. Anyone else see this?

What happens if both us and Boston win our series before most of the other first-round series are over? Does the second-round series wait until all the first-round ones finish? Or do the second-round series start as soon as both teams win their first-round series?

man, Varejao was such a quality big for the Cavs. It really pissed me off that he went to Golden State after the Cavs let him go. One of the few consistent supporting cast for LeBron's first tour of Cleveland. It's interesting that JA made this comment because at times, he reminds me of Andy. However, I think he needs to continually work on the offensive game to get there.

The weekend after next are the scheduled Game 7s but they will have Game 1s for the second round that weekend if possible.

Uh…after the Cavs let him go. That’s kind of the key here. This isn’t a Boozer thing. We traded Andy.

This is definite being prisoner of the moment lol. We aren’t beating Boston with DG playing like this. No chance.

The emotional fans screeching about the rotations are cracking me up. The starters are averaging at least a quarter of rest a game so far this postseason and 8 man rotations are normal for the playoffs. Look at the Celtics game 1 - 8 man rotation with Tatum playing 41 minutes
not about the minutes it’s about how they look. Allen and Mitchell were jogging a lot of the second half because they were too tired to move.

He was a high energy guy. Great in the boards. Limited offensive game
Allen is a much better all around player and I am sorry. Do not see many similarities
