That was definitely closer than I anticipated. I wasn't going to watch without Mobley, but checked in early in the 4th when I saw it was still close. They really missed his defensive versatility the deeper the game got in the 4th.

2-4-1 in 11 minutes. If he played 33, that'd be 6-12-3 and 3/4 of his rebounds were offensive. Just like when he won a championship with us. Love would get the defensive rebounds and Tristan the offensive ones.

We aren't far off when it comes to talent. We are still bringing a knife to a gun fight with JB on the sidelines and that severely limits the ceiling of this team. Really hoping they don't waste another entire season on him, but feels like it's inevitable.

Yep, we are what our record says.

Do I think we're better than our record? Sure.

Do I think it will get better than this? Nope.... Not unless they make a coaching change.

I know some will say "but, but, we were a 4th seed last year, come on".

JBB was bad last year, and he's bad this year. Difference is, he's lost the team.

You can tell the players know he is bad, and don't believe in him. And that impacts the play on the court. It doesn't mean they don't want to do well.

But when you don't believe in the coach, you don't play with as much assertiveness. Guys get moody, and you can tell, they don't enjoy themselves anymore.

This is a big problem.
