• Jarrett Allen only had 8 first half points – he had 24 on the night. I don’t believe it’s a coincidence that the Cavs offense started humming in the 2nd half when they started to involve Allen more in the offense and started to play off him. The first half was too reliant on perimeter shooting and not enough involving the big man. The Cavs are like the Kevin Stefanski Browns: They do best when they’re able to pass off play-action pass, and that all starts with establishing the run. They’re not a pure drop back team. Much like the Cavs, they’re a much better shooting team if they’re able to work off an effective inside game. They’re not a pure shooting team and are not going to win too many games out shooting teams.
• Allen is putting an All-Star level stretch of games together. He went for 24 points, 23 rebounds and 6 assists. We talked about the Cavs needing to run their offense through Allen more, and the success they have when he gets 10+ shot attempts. They are now 5-1 on the year when he gets 10+ FGA. Feed the big man.

I turned over in bed when we were down by like 21 or whatever it was. Woke up and saw we were up 5 with 20 seconds to go. I thought i was dreaming. What happened between then? I just knew we'd get blown off the floor.

Same here. Went to bed down 20 , left gamecast on phone . Woke up at 2:00 am to go to bathroom, hit refresh button to see how bad they lost and saw they won

They played a big defensive lineup with Okoro or Max as their shortest players. Doubt that one gets on the floor if either guard is healthy.

I wanted CPJ back in, but it was a switch everything lineup and it worked. They didn't get anything
