Who would’ve thought that we as spectators would almost look forward to our second unit facing other teams’ and watching us flex our muscles and depth? More evidence that there was indeed a silver lining to the injuries to DG and Evan which gave our bench confidence and JBB confidence in our bench .

I DO look forward to Okoro and Wade coming in. They just choke the life out of offenses which lead to easy buckets for us and leads.

We’re able to play balls out for 48 minutes because we play 10 deep.

Two emphasis items for us every game: Feed out big men and don’t make Don do all the scoring work. 10/10 on both counts tonight.

Anyone else catch the Raptors broadcast? Props to their 2 commentators. Really solid and not overly-homers. They clearly love the way the Cavs are playing. Was very cool to hear from another perspective!

I listen to other teams broadcasts most games.

I don’t hate our guys, but its fun to see what else is out there. I agree those guys and any other ones who just appreciate good basketball are fun to listen to.

@Sir'Dom Pointer youve been correctly critical of Mobley and Allen’s screening the past couple seasons.

To my eye, this has markedly improved over the course of this run. Allen makes solid contact on the dribble handoff actions and Mobley is regularly doing an OK job setting screens off the ball.

My hypothesis is that this is why the pairing all of a sudden looks totally fine on offense again. They’re able to better support a motion-based offense.

Have you noticed the same improvement?

Sure, there is an improvement. There is also better movement and secondary actions and players trusting the guys and a lot more hockey, swing swing passes.

Still, I'd say the screening is bottom of the barrel, but it's improved.

I think the improvement also comes from players knowing their roles better, trusting themselves and their teammates, running more complete sets, and Allen and Mobley playing at their best and utilizing the court and their skillset a lot better.

Oh, almost forgot, SAM MERILL. Like I said, I hope he isn't gonna be forgotten when we get closer to the playoffs. Huge mistake.

The rebounding feels much improved so I checked the numbers.

Last year we had the 20th rebounding percentage. Offensive and defensive.

This year we are 8th in rebounding percentage. top 15 in both offensive and defensive.

I loved the Canadian commentators complimenting the Cavs all game.

Actually when the Cavs are good, I rather listen to non Cavs commentators. Especially nowadays when there are so many good ones.

I don’t think Brad is good either. He was a breath of fresh air early on, but I just don’t find him insightful or colorful enough during a game. He repeats so much stuff.
