2023-24 Season | Game #51 | Cavs @ Raptors | Feb. 10, 2024 | 7:30 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm all for a another Cleveland Heights boy doing well, and a billionaire girlfriend that your brother and parents seemingly approve qualifies as doing exceptionally well.

I’m hoping for a Trav and Tay Tay wedding this year because (a) Jason Kelce will be the most legendary Best Man in history and (b) anything that takes attention away from those two old assholes competing for an elected job is a plus in my book.

Also props to Trav for paying for the million dollar suite. He could have asked Tay Tay to pay for it and she’s far wealthier than him but he’s a man and a man pays for his own and the woman he’s courting.

But personally I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near the wedding. I’d definitely want to be in the bachelor party even though I’d have no better than 50-50 odds of surviving it. But I’m too old for that shit.

I don’t think Brad is good either. He was a breath of fresh air early on, but I just don’t find him insightful or colorful enough during a game. He repeats so much stuff.

He can speak in full sentences.

I can't take AC mumbling and stumbling through every other sentence when his job is to speak. It gives me second hand embarrassment.

I watch basketball mostly to be entertained. It's nice to learn more about the game while I watch. But the primary goal is entertainment. And AC entertains me. And is a Cavs legend and seems like a great guy to boot. So I think he's an awesome at what he does. Get that weak stuff outta here! Got 'em a bird! Deep in the Q! He passed to the invisible man!

Ah, old Tommy. Mom adored the Celtics and I had to endure many years of him when she'd watch them on DirectTV starting in 1995. The homeriest homer who ever homered.
I hated the Celtics, but I actually didn’t mind listening to Heinsohn.

he was such a level-homer 11 for me that i found it even easier to hate the celtics with him as their voice.

i actually found the experience very funny. he was so over-the-top you could not believe anyone would actually believe what he was saying.

heinsohn did some national broadcasting and did not hide his love for the celtics there either, and in those games he usually came across as an ex-player guest and not exactly a broadcasting professional. :chuckle:

He was such an angry person. Everything horrified him.

Wait, so we think +/- is a meaningful stat again?

Typically not in one game, but it was interesting that Wade scored zero and was a plus 26. But who he plays with matters allot on a one game basis and who he plays against. It helps that Toronto has one of the worst benches in the league and Wade comes off the bench now.

The death combo in this case was Garland,LeVert,Okoro,Wade, Mobley. Mobley was unstoppable inside and defensively they score 6 point to our 24..

Wade is a version of twin towers. He defends even smaller faster and bully ballers with excellent fundamentals .. position, foot work, just the right Physical, and length.. I personally think he is a better defender 1 through 5 than Allen, who is pretty good.. but that squad had enough scoring even when Wade is not on, to expand a lead because they are suffocating. When Garland finds his three ball, that squad will be brutal, especially as Allen ,Strus, and Mitchell are resting..

Check the on off chart on basketball-reference.com and you’ll see Wade was on the floor mostly when Barnes wasn’t. It’s an example of how on/off for a game can be an unreliable stat.

Shout out to Serena who does her homework, knows the game and is an excellent interviewer. It’s clear the players like and respect her.
I like and respect Serena, too! I’d like to make her my bride!

His voice was so unmistakable. Like, I can hear it in my head right now.

Also a Serena fan. @Deezus hates her which is so bizarre.
She looks like the mouse that squatted in @David. 's car for 2 months. She also does this weird rapid nod thing when she's interviewing a player and they are answering a question. I just find her very cringey. But hey, at least she doesn't have Man-Hands like ol' Allie Clifton.
