2023 AFC North

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Bengals are done this year. They really should have rested Burrow to start the season. A lingering calf injury for a QB behind a terrible O-Line is a recipe for disaster. It affects his throws and ability to move in the pocket.

It's going to be us or the Ravens for the AFC North and I like our odds in that case.

We’re the Browns, man. Can we chill it with the hubris? Let’s not jinx a good thing.

I get it, but if we can't start being optimistic this year, then when? This is the best the roster has been in my lifetime.

Being optimistic is fine. Acting as if we've won the division and the Steelers and Bengals are done is just hubris.
Steelers are shit and the Bengals are in trouble after two division losses. When did I say we're a shoo-in? I even said it's us or the Ravens.

Even though I still believe the Browns have a top to bottom better roster than both the Steelers and Ravens, both Tomlin and Harbaugh are vastly better coaches than Stefanski, so you can never be too certain about pulling out a win when facing them.

This feels like the one year we could actually win the division when looking at rosters and the Bengals collapse. But, we shot ourselves in the foot against the Steelers and then today happened. I said a few weeks ago that a 4-2 division record would be the minimum needed to win this thing. Have to win the rest of the division games now if we want to realistically contend.

Steelers and Ravens

Seeing these two side by side like that takes me back to that classic episode of To Catch a Predator, when dude shouted it like it was the answer to a test question and it'd get him off the hook for coming to "watch football" with a minor.

It's kind of deflating to be behind both the Stools and the Ratbirds when you know we have better talent wearing the uniforms. It's somewhat of an indictment of the coaching staff IMO. Sure, key injuries, yata yata yata.

Time for heads to either come out of asses or heads should roll.
