Ha I don't agree; a large portion of the fan base thinks Urban was a (onfield) savant and Day is a bumbling idiot who loses to Michigan every year.

I guess that is the question we need to ask ourselves - I am fine with losing to Michigan if it means having a chance to win a championship. With the 12 team format, our team would've been in the playoffs the last 10 years, despite losing to the random Iowas, Purdues, and now Michigan.

Alabama winning would make life extremely tough on the committee so that's what I. Rooting for.

I'll feel stupid if both Texas and Florida State lose but since I don't think that's likely I want the chaos.

If Alabama is in and Texas wins, that makes it almost impossible to put Alabama in and leave Texas out.

But if Texas jumps up...who gets dropped assuming all the favorites win? Florida State gonna get dropped out even if they go undefeated?

Basically you'll have three undefeated teams in Michigan, Florida State and Washington. You e got one open spot and it's between. Texas, Alabama, and Georgia.

Absolutely fascinating what the committee would do with that. Take Bama and Texas and drop Florida State? Take just Bama and somehow leave out Texas? Leave the SEC out entirely and take Texas?

Do you guys know how the other NY 6 bowls work? Barring chaos, why is OSU almost a lock to play Louisville in the Orange? Does the Orange get the first pick and they want OSU? Personally, I’d rather play someone like Ole Miss or Bama and see if our bowl record against the SEC can be improved. Louisville does nothing for me

It is an eye test thing with Oregon. People are more impressed with them than the others you mentioned. The public is high on them. That is why they are a huge favorite against the Huskies even though they lost to them
