Oof. I count 11 games against teams that finished .500+ this year.

I expect the Chargers to be .500+ next year. That's 12.

Perhaps Giants or Broncos too. That's 13-14.

Giants and Broncos both have offensive problems on the near horizon.

Giants with Barkley being a FA, Jones being injured and below average, spending a 3rd rounder for Waller, their WRs always have issues.

Broncos with the Wilson decision and subsequent cap hit, starting WRs on the trade block every year, restructure or find a replacement for OT Bolles, cap issues for a .500 team.

For what it’s worth, Brad is suggesting that the browns are considering promoting Berry to a higher position and making cook the GM. But they think he’ll get a job elsewhere. Again it’s Brad but occasionally he’s right.

Ugh. I want Berry to keep moving on up, but I want him to stay at GM so he can make the roster decisions. Once he's promoted, he has different professional responsibilities and isn't the GM anymore. He can provide input, but ultimately he's no longer making the GM decisions.

Just give him the same pay as a promotion but keep him at GM.
