The two times I thought we were screwed were after Chubb went down, and then after Dawand Jones went down, oddly. I thought our line would fall apart and we couldn't run the ball anymore. The run game did obviously slip after that, but it wasn't as dire as I feared.Did anyone outside of the locker room really believe after Chubb went down? I certainly didn’t. I hope this team at least gets one playoff win. Please rest Flacco next weekend.
Playoffs!

Ironically I didn't think the season was over once Deshaun went down, but I did think it would be a whole lot harder. Obviously Flacco came in and exceeded even wildest expectations.
I was the exact same way, and honestly thought about just not tuning in after that happened.i lost all care for the game of football in general after the Chubb injury. I was well beyond “wow things look a lot more difficult now.” I was legit depressed and crushed and literally wanted nothing to do with the game for the better part of a week.
I recognize how dramatic and extreme that was but that was by far and away the most emotionally impactful injury for me personally since it was specifically Chubb.
Our very own, one of the best to ever do it went down in that miserable shithole stadium. But here we are.
