Holtz is an out of touch geriatric clown. Made himself look like an asshole twice in a short period of time.

Holtz is to ND like Bo is to Michigan and Woody is to OSU. He's revered there. He's a homer. His fan base agrees with him.

That said, he fails to mention the lack of success ND has had since the playoffs started. They are 0-2 in the playoffs. No National Championship.

The Day-Holtz thing is fun and hopefully keeps the fire lit.

Now, Day hasn't proven to be an all-time coach. We don't know if he can coach a team to actually win the title, let alone build a dynasty. But his big game record is pretty solid and most fanbases would kill for it. He's dominated the B1G with Michigan being the only exception, which you know would at least be 2-2 if 2020 took place. Clemson loss stung but was avenged. Bama wasn't losing to anybody. We were closer to beating Georgia than most expected. And yeah, 2-0 against ND in low scoring affairs. If we look like shit in The Game again, I could see the Cooper comparisons starting to take hold, but for now I'd say he's a step above.

That being said, he should be fired.
