This is a solid Maryland team. Probably their best since joining the Big Ten.
The defense, again, has been fantastic. You can't watch these games and possibly conclude the defense is an issue unless you're just trying to push a narrative.
They won the game last week. They carried them through the Indiana game.
And they were the reason this wasn't a 1st half blowout.

I used to love these game threads, but a select few have absolutely poisoned the well. There’s a bunch of Cleveland.com takes on every page.
I have 3 month old twins and I’ve spent the vast majority of this game rocking my son to sleep (he finally fell asleep on Stovers TD). So I can’t really participate in these threads. But now…who would want to.

The defense was bad early, but from second half of the 2nd quarter on they have been much better. Good enough against better teams? I don't know, but it's definitely been better. The offensive line is the major concern. If they had even last year's line they would be up there with the best teams in the country.
