I don't mind having Devin Brown come in to run in this game even with the fumble. I think it will let Day flush out some of his QB run concepts without putting McCord into danger. Maybe it gets used with McCord down the line in more meaningful games.

He would have been a hybrid in Urban's offense. I think Day has a hard time carving out a role for him because the talent of the WRs they recruit. It's just too tempting for Day to see the potential in someone like Flemming or Tate and keep the offense the same instead of building things out for Xavier then not having anyone for that role after him
