Agreed, though it certainly helps when the OL actually blocks people.

He would have been a hybrid in Urban's offense. I think Day has a hard time carving out a role for him because the talent of the WRs they recruit. It's just too tempting for Day to see the potential in someone like Flemming or Tate and keep the offense the same instead of building things out for Xavier then not having anyone for that role after him

If I had had Xavier Johnson's ear I'd have told him to transfer out and try and find a team who would feature him more. He really does have a bunch of talent with the ball in his hands.

Now, quite frankly, maybe a future in football isn't his own personal dream, so he's fine with it. Who knows.

He said he was going to possibly transfer and Day/Hartline sold him on a role that got him to stay. I still don't see his role being any different than last year. His snap counts till this week we're clearly #4 of the WR by a wide margin.

I do agree he could have transferred and been a bigger part of another teams offense.

Killing it, Ms Davis, and Based on a true story are also worth watching if anyone bought a one month subscription to watch this game and want to get their money's worth
