But never a clean inning, though. At least Tito didn’t bring in James K. Your wizard graphic is nicer resolution than mine.

By all means, steal it.

Not many relievers with a sub 1.000 WHIP man. In fact only 20 in the league right now can say that. It happens, part of the game.

Half of the game highlights, ends with Guardians up 4-3.

Here's the whole game. It's a good one. Guardians 10-7 in 11.

I'm calling Thor a Guardians legend. The man showed no fear.

Our two scrap heap projects, Calhoun and Laureano, were the heroes today. Kole with a single, two doubles, a walk, and a game-saving defensive play to gun down a runner at third base after fielding a bunt. Laureano had three hits and two walks with two RBI's. We got these guys for nothing but they sure made the front office look good today.

Laureano has 7 hits in his last 15 a-bats with 6 RBI's and a couple of walks. Maybe he's gotten comfortable here and is starting to bust out.

The Noah Syndergaard era went out with a whimper. Too bad - he would have been a nice comeback story if they could have helped him.

Five innings and one earned run by pen - just good enough. All in all a great win, but too little too late unless we take five of six from the Twins.

So, Kole Calhoun has made $51 million in his baseball career. He could live anywhere now and do anything he pleased.

He chose to ride busses in AAA at age 35.

You know, I would choose the same thing, if I had the option or any skills at all. Damned ballplayer to the end, that's what he is.

That's what we need on this team! Gamers to the very end!

Calling Laureano a scrap heap project might be a little harsh. From what I can see he plays a good OF with a great arm. Occasionally he can hit the long ball. Nothing wrong with having a 29-year-old RH OF on the team. Unless there is a dramatic addition, I will pencil him into the 24 lineup.
