Trading the worst defensive SS who at the time of the trade had a .675 OPS, 86 wRC+, and was worth -0.1 fWAR is a move that made us worse this year.

The guy who replaced him who has been a plus defender at SS and has a .691 OPS, 88 wRC+, and has been worth 0.4 fWAR since the trade is why the team is bad and we should move on from him.

Because sTrIkEoUtZ r BaDd or some shit.

The lack of shame or self-awareness is impressive. This is a display of hubris that could make even Icarus blush.

I say let it continue. Grab some popcorn and watch him go. It's like that crazy old man at a nursing home... at some point you're just impressed by the energy and commitment to the bit.

And how’s that effected his numbers this year? He who strikeouts too much to be a productive MLB hitter? His numbers must be real bad with all those strikeouts.

Arias is hitting better than the guy he replaced since he replaced him. What does that say about the guy he replaced?

At the time it was when he, checks notes, hurt his knee. But sure, I lack the clairvoyance that a full year later he’d hurt his shoulder enough to have to get surgery. Maybe if I could see the future like you I would have gotten that one right.

So you want us to trade 2 of our best pitching prospects and two of our current OFs to get a single player...

Dude... You are the oldest one here, but look don't look at the whole picture...

First off, Cleveland isn't trading Allen, Bibee or Williams... They would have had to trade two plus more to get Murphy, please get that...

Secondly, they have been trying to get players... They tried to get Drury, tried to get Murphy etc... it takes two to tango and the FO isn't one who dances with the easiest of loose women, they keep their standards and never lower them...

Next off, I am opening to trading just about anyone if the deal makes sense, but I am not sacrificing the whole farm for one player, like you want too...

It's no use arguing with him.

If he's going to keep repeating the Murphy shit after being told what the price was, he's just not acting in good faith.

He's either too much of an asshole or too stupid... or maybe both

Agreed. Fry could easily DH or play 1st, so could Arias.

If I had my way, I think I would be giving Naylor(most) and JRam (some) of the DH at bats to close out the season.

I know, but honestly, this FO has been very good at making the most of their assets and making deals, so you have to really give then the benefit of the doubt...

I don't have to give anyone the benefit of the doubt. Nobody is beyond reproach or above questioning.

That also has nothing to do with the tantrum that Amed's burner account continues to throw.
