2023 Season | Series #46 | Guardians @ Angels | Sep. 6-9, 2023

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm guessing he won't be here in 24, and it's not because of talent, he just doesn't have a spot...
Well, yeah. Calhoun, 36 years old, is taking time away from future possibilities. It's safe to say Freeman is OUT.

Calhoun has nothing to do with Freeman... It's the fact, Rocchio has more upside and Arias is a way better fielder... He just is lesser as an overall player than those two on paper...

I didn't say anything about wanting strike outs. I want...and have for at least two years...two RH bats that can hit lefties.

If you look at our present roster with an eye towards fielding an offensively competitive team next season, we have only two RH bats that are not totally helpless against LHers.

Laureano and Fry.

wRC+ vs lefties...

Arias.....-13 (not a misprint)
Straw......54
Oscar......44
Rocchio...10
Freeman...56

The kid most likely to be given a shot at a regular shot next year (Manzardo) is a lefty who hasn't been able to hit lefties. The power hitting "savior' to so many on this board (Valera) is a lefty who hasn't been able to hit lefties.

The two RH bats we did have who could hit lefties (Bell and Rosario) were traded away.

But folks don't think we have a problem worth making a major trade to address.

Calhoun has everything to do with anything. He's DHing and taking a spot away. Jose should DH, Freeman should play 3rd. Not hard. This season is OVER.

Love @CATS44 trying to swing his dick around while getting exposed for having the worst, most stubborn takes on the board this year.

The lack of shame or self-awareness is impressive. This is a display of hubris that could make even Icarus blush.

I say let it continue. Grab some popcorn and watch him go. It's like that crazy old man at a nursing home... at some point you're just impressed by the energy and commitment to the bit.
It reminds me of a certain poster's obsession with Adam Plutko, Bobby Bradley and Ka'ai Tom.

No one likes Tyler Freeman.

Isn’t that obvious?

Honestly I like Freeman as a player and the organization does as well...

Do you see a way he can sincerely fit going forward, since I don't sadly...

Its not over for those still playing and Calhoun still has something to play for and that's his life after baseball and to enjoy his current time he has left...

Honestly, the young guys learn as much from Calhoun as anyone else....

Sure did get a little "spicy" in here today. Thanks for the entertainment before the game starts.

I'm one of Q's homies.
