2023 Summer League Champs

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It's a podcast story for sure. Can't be ruined in print. Jim Brown gets the door slammed in his face, the inside story of the 1950 Championship game winning kick and a Browns Backers meeting delayed for a really stupid reason. And so much more.

We need a post Summer League RRJ anyway but Brew and Tip's Bogus Browns Boondoggle has never been documented.
(I'm going to regret this).

I was just there for the free food.

Siap:

We have a bunch of talent there. I hesitate to get too attached bc we might trade some of this potential for a more predictable “now” type player but I really hope we stay put.
The ultimate vision is to have a proper farm system that develops talent such that we become like the Spurs. I just think these super teams will come and go and I’d like to have the core of Mobley and Garland together. Yes DM too but the point is that we should be able to absorb a trade that sets us back in talent if anyone goes rogue, and if they want to stay, ideally we have the farm system to absorb the epic $ that we will have to pay our stars.

Idk I just loved that Summer League team and would hate to see these guys tear it up anywhere besides Cleveland.

I like our summer league team - how could you not? - but I don't think there is much top line NBA talent on it. I see a lot of guys who are solid basketball players, but limited. But I will say that I love the idea of homegrown guys filling out the bench and maybe even becoming contributing role players. I think there are a number of these guys who might do that.

Repeat ?
