Note: The NBA 2K24 Summer League will feature all 30 NBA teams playing at least five games each. Each team will play four games from July 7-14. After each team plays four games, the top four teams will advance to the playoffs and participate in the semifinals on Sunday, July 16 (4 p.m. ET on ESPN and 6 p.m. ET on ESPN2). The two winning teams from the semifinal games will meet in the championship game on Monday, July 17 at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN. The four playoff teams will be determined by winning percentage in each team’s first four games, with tiebreak criteria available here. The 26 teams that do not advance to the four-team playoff will play a fifth game on either Saturday, July 15 or Sunday, July 16.

Who is to say. Could have said that about half the dudes on the heat when they played in summer league. No one thought Max Strus, Duncan Robinson, Caleb Martin were NBA players when they came outta college.

Does this Nance guy have a shot?

I looked at his stats and then watched about 40 seconds of highlight clips. He's got good size, decent shooting, seems like good passing and defensive instincts. I would assume he's athletic given his pedigree. Movement doesn't seem very fluid though, seems kinda uncoordinated/skittish like Mobley.

Unfortunately though, his shooting form is very assfingerish.

This is an interesting roster.
Diop, Porter Jr., Nance, Merril, Mobley, and Mullet-Man.
Plus this guy, who might be able to distract shooters with his hair.

Aren't you setting yourself up for a bit of disappointment there, ol' buddy?

I'm most looking forward to watching Travers and Diop. Really interested to see how well they move on the floor, try to pick up a little about their BBIQ, and whether they have a decent shooting form.

Other than that, I don't really know anything about the rest of these guys. But I can guarantee that some stiff will get hot, and there will be howls of outrage that we didn't end up offering him a contract.

I'm going to get Sharife Cooper and Emoni Bates 90% usage in HPNR and Iso

Boyscouts like IMobley, Pete Nance, Travers and Diop will fighting for possessions and opportunities to impact the game outside of watching those two ball hog
