2024 Guardians Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
HELL YEAH.

Sounds like they should be able to correct some of the issues using specialized shoes essentially...

I sold shoes, having shoes that fit your feet properly and support properly do matter.

Now it just a question of, how will that effect his speed and whatnot plus those shoes are going to be pretty expensive on a minor leagues players salary...

Some of you guys have the hottest of takes. Manzardo has had what... 8 abs. 5ks is rough. Fly out, ground out, single.

Saying he's a deer in headlights because he's patient at the plate is wild. Arias is quickly approaching 500abs and as recently as last weekend swinging at 3 straight curveball in the dirt.

Be patient. Take a cold shower. Give the guy the leash he needs to get his feet under him.

Chase got a 3.75 mil signing bonus. I'm sure he has some of that left (I would hope at least).

You would think his batting stance/motion is a direct result of this and maybe could have been avoided? Maybe not....but let's hope it isn't a recurring issue.

It's possible his stance got created because he has always had some type of issue with that foot... injuries or genetic factors definitely can create some unique factors... (I am hyper mobile, so my swing would get out of wack cause of how much flex is in my back).

This is a strange, although welcome turn of events for DeLauter. It's either bad reporting, or bad doctoring. First, he had a serious issue with his foot that put his future in jeopardy.
Now the problem is solved with better shoes?

Eh, he's had multiple surgeries on the same bone... It's definitely an issue for sure...

That being stated, if they can design him shoes that relieve any pressure on that bone, it's very possible it goes from serious to non-serious...

off topic but, The Cheers Episode where Cliff sold shoes to everyone in the bar was hilarious

Don't look at slugging. Slugging isn't real... but Rocchio's slash over the last 7 games

6 hits 5 walks 4ks 2sb

I'd be extremely happy with that production in the 9 hole. Get on base for Kwan by any means necessary.
