When Triston McKenzie has his command, he is able to locate fastballs at the top of the strike zone to give the hitters a specific look from an eye level perspective. When he's able to do that, he can then follow up with appropriately tunneled 12-6 breaking curveballs that look from the release point they're going to be high fastballs and thus be extremely difficult to hit.
