A Closer Look at Andrew Wiggins

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Will be fun to see him on the Bobcats, very excited for his arrival in the league as the best prospect since Lebron.

Please let that happen. Watching home basketball games here is fucking unbearable. I've lived here through two NBA seasons and I have yet to see a winning game live. :chuckles:

I thought Zeller was a nice pick personally. He's working on his 3 point shot, and should be an efficient scoring PF in the league for years to come. But I still see the Bobcats getting Wiggins, they've been abused in the past 2 draft lotteries.

Oh I agree actually. Zeller will be a great fit next to MKG. As for Wiggins, Toronto would be a nice story and might actually get fans interested in basketball again. Gut feeling ? Boston.

I heard this yesterday and was shocked, because I assumed the same thing you just said.

Toronto is actually in the top half of the league in attendance at over 18,100 a night (13th in the league this year).

I figured they would easily be a bottom 5 squad as it seems no one is interested, but they don't seem to have a problem putting butts in the seats even when the basketball is bad.

I think I'd just try and go catch games at Duke or UNC if my only other option was paying to watch the Bobcats :chuckles:

I have a gut feeling he ends up in Boston or with the Lakers.

Those are both a couple of hours away. The Time Warner Cable Arena is a ten minute walk away.

Honest question: What's it like in the arena? How does attendance look there? I never watch Bobcats games besides the Cavs ones.

Who are the Bobcats?

The arena itself is really nice, but attendance isn't great unless a really good team is in town. The two Cavs games I've been there were both about half empty, but there was a pretty full house for the Clippers game I was at. The main problem with Charlotte is that almost no one is actually from here, which hurts attendance because everyone is a fan of a team from where they're from (like me). Until the team is good, attendance is going to suck most nights.

I remember when I lived in Norfolk and there was considerable talk of the Hornets moving there and I was so excited because it was a pretty short walk to where they were going to build the arena. The two interim arena possibilities were also pretty close as well. In a way I'm glad that didn't happen, because I never would have moved out of that shithole of a city.
