A Closer Look at Jabari Parker

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Funniest post I've read in a while. What has he ever broken? Nothing he says ever pans out.

His time on this board goes way before 2010. So unless you were here under a different name prior to June 2010, you really wouldn't know. 2007-2010 He had good info and beat many reporters to stuff like the Mo Williams trade, the attempted Amare trades, the Shaq trade. Post 2010, hasn't had as much. His sources lay with Ferry or someone in the Ferry era.

Secondly, a trade doesn't need to go through for the info about its discussion to not be relevent or "broken"

Thanks, but I do like my name, maybe I should put like a disclamier after my post or something though, lol.

Haha. No disclaimers necessary. I'll just have to actually pay attention and notice the differences.

Fair enough, I'll grant you he may have had some really good stuff a while ago. But in the recent past he has had nothing, and he assured this board of how successful Mike Brown pt. 2 would be.

C'mon guys. Try to keep it on topic, and not personal. Thanks.

Such a high quality individual. There won't be a better role model in the NBA. I'm very happy for Milwaukee.

"They're a young team," Parker said. "I feel like I can contribute right off the bat. I feel like I'm going to be able to grow with that organization, and I'm trying to be a throwback player, only stick with one team."

Holy Bill Russell, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Elgin Baylor, Jerry West, John Havlicek, David Robinson, Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan.

"This might bite me in the butt years from now, but right now I just want to stick with whoever's rolling with me," Parker said.

Yea, LeBron said he was going to stay in Cleveland his whole career too and be committed to bringing us a championship. Look how that turned out.

I think Parker will be nice as well, but Milwaukee is truly a baron wasteland where careers go to die. I have no confidence that they will ever put together a winning team.

If they stock their team with high character guys like the Henson, the Greek Freak, and Jabari I don't see any reason why they won't succeed.

i think jabari's high usage will help brandon knight a lot. He wont have to run the offense as much and play more to his strengths.

I don't follow college basketball all that closely. Saw my first interview with Parker, one soon after he was drafted. I cannot say I was impressed. Not to dog on the guy--I don't know him--but his sincerity didn't seem that genuine. Not that what he said was scripted, but he seemed to say shit he thought would say to make himself sound like a good guy. I appreciate being humble. I cannot stomach when people are cloying humble, however. It comes across as so shameless self-serving. I don't buy the act. Give me the goofiness of Manziel. I don't need to idolize the players nor put them on pedestals.

As for his abilities, well, it will be fun to see how the lottery picks of this draft pan out. I am in no position to guess how good he will be. Curious to know.

People say the same thing about Cleveland. Situations change. Let's spare insulting the entire city and organization.

Parker will be really good, and has the potential to turn Milwaukee's situation around. I still prefer Wiggins.

Would love Milwaukee to succeed. Of course, we will stilll beat them out but it will be nice to have small market teams creating some buzz.
