Watching this game he is definately coming out. Why not they are not using him right. a nice flush there

the guys teammates stink very difficult to evalutate but you can see the natural talent and the size is unbelievable

i'm sold on perry jones. you don't get many people that big and long who can run, jump, and shoot like that. i agree, baylor isn't using him right. keeping him in the paint only shows his lack of strength. he'd be better playing a combo forward role taking advantage of slower/smaller guys imo

Camakazee frontin like I didn't say Jones was misused :chuckles:

He's lookin damn good out there, I'm down.

Every time I watch Kansas, the Morris twins are balling. Very difficult guards because of their range.

Man, Perry Jones is legitimately the only guy on Baylor looking halfway decent. I don't watch a whole lot of college ball, but he looks great. I've read about him being misused at baylor but damn, seeing it really makes it click. That dude should be dominating the ball and he hardly gets any looks. Idiotic coach and sub par teammates.

I don't know, I think I've got the time stamp on you! :chuckles:

I've watched a couple of his games, he shows flashes but the dudes on his team are hot garbage. He has a bunch of upper classmen that freeze him out of the offense it's disgusting.

Furthermore he has shown more aggression within the Baylor system that I believe is misusing one of the most athletic and dynamic players in the country.

I'll still give you recognition credit though.

I think I was one of the first people to post a Perry Jones highlight, could be wrong but with his size you have to think if he gets some good coaching he could be a terror.

I am a sucker for a tall athletic player that can do it all but there are too many question marks with Perry Jones. Superstars/franchise players have a certain "it" factor to them. So far I haven't seen anything from Jones to tell me he could lead a team. It could change but he is obviously the most talented player on the Baylor squad but he is not being used properly and not demanding the ball when his team needs a bucket.

I'm not trying to single you out, this just seems to be the main reason for him under producing since his hgh school years by most people that discuss him. I believe he even stated the same at some point during his senior season in high school and the blame shifted toward the coaches for not using him correctly as a player which led to his poor season statiscally at 17 pt and 9 rbs a game. It seems to be an ongoing issue/excuse with him so not playing up to his potential so far during his brief existence as a basketball player.

I'm wondering how long things like this can be used as an excuse (such as the coach not using him right argument ) for this Jones not performing up to his potential talent level?

Forgot the below stuff

Too bad Perry doesn't have much help out there. I really like this kid.

Why did Jones go to Baylor of all places?

His shooting style does remind me a lot of Durant.

COMEBACK CITY!!!

Perry Jones has had a solid game so far. Let's see what he can do down the stretch currently playing the 3/4...
