Anderson Varejao

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
nah Andy is just trolling griffin who made a big deal about the locker room.

Cavs intentionally put Andy on the shelf. it had nothing to do with his ability.

I don't think so. I think he is just telling it as it is. He isn't the first person to make a big deal about the locker room. If anything he is agreeing with Griffin.

I mean it’s also easy to “love each other” when you’re winning at the pace that team does.

Do people not remember this from the beginning of last year?

I cannot watch it. I seriously can't.

Is Andy throwing shade at the Cavaliers situation ie everything we've heard about Bron the experienced one vs Kyrie & Kevin the underachievers?

Andy has always played hard, he has every right to call the motherfuckers out who don't do it: Kevin Love and Kyrie.

Obviously LeBron and Varejao both being heady veterans know what kind of effort it takes to win the championship.

By Andy calling attention to the Warriors loving each other, is he subliminally throwing shade at Cleveland and insinuating that Golden State's success is due to the fact that their players are all operating so well because they like each other?

Simplistically speaking, is Andy in some way referencing and confirming the notion that our players aren't close/ don't agree with each other?
You guys are all reading way too much into this. Andy is simply saying that the Golden State locker room is a place where the players are allowed to express and explore their love for one another... in every way imaginable.

Good ESPN piece on what the Warriors hope to do with AV, which will be truly painful to see if it works:
The Warriors have no hopes for AV but to stick it to Cleveland in the most personal way possible.

In honor of AV's long service to the team and decidedly *involuntary* departure, I propose we leave this thread on the 'Cavs Talk' forum rather than moving it to 'Around the NBA'.

Even if he can't do that, he can still contribute off the court if we meet them in the Finals. He knows our players pretty well...their strengths, weaknesses, tendencies, favorite spots on the floor.

Not that it should make that much of a difference with advances scouting existing regardless but annoying to think about, nonetheless.

You’re free now Andy. You’re free.

I believe Andy is professional enough not to make backhanded comments about the Cavs. Whatever dirty laundry there is in the Cavs locker room, Andy isn't the one I expect to air it. He's simply saying favorable things about his new team, nothing to see here.

ESPN has a film clip of Windhorst breaking down the addition of Andy from the Warriors perspective, and finishes with calling many Cleveland sports fans "paranoid."

I wonder what gives him that idea...

Paranoid and self loathing

He also thinks people are mad at Kosar for going to Dallas When Kosar was fired.

If Windhorst finds tongue in cheek post as evidence of paranoia and self loathing. it explains a lot about in the difference of his perception and reality of what he is reporting .

Griffin fired a coach because of the locker room. He said as much
Griffin recently made a comment saying the locker room was improving.
Windhorst himself and other beat writers are constantly reporting strife amongst players.

!st thing Andy says on a new teams is about the locker room. similar to what Dion said when he arrived in OKC.

I for one don't care where AV signed with. He was traded and bought out. If the Cavs were concerned about where AV would end up they wouldn't of traded him.

We will see how much floor time Andy gets but Windhorst I has forgotten once you get Andy on the floor its hard to take him off.

I don't think that will change once he gets to play in GS and if he can run the court with any type of speed. with consistency he will get some burn even when ezeli returns.
