The young fellas should be getting playing time now, but knowing Mikey B, the "veterans" will get more playing time.

Yeah he'll make Earl Clark play for 38 minutes now.

He wanted to prove he could come back.. The true determination was there this offseason.. I question whether he has the true mental resolve to play with pretty decent levels of pain. Which is what it would take for him to continue on. It's an issue more than a few deal with in their careers. If he's financially secure for life, and doesn't want to be a guy living in pain forever, or requiring hard pain meds to get through the grind... Let it go. That's my advise to AB. This is the first step towards that I believe. Time for an honest evaluation of himself.

If this is the case, can't really say I blame him for his decision. Props for at least attempting to come back and going through rigorous rehab.

I have no doubt the Cavs will play better in the short term without Bynum. I also know they won't be as good as they could have been, but they may never have gotten there anyway.

There's no amount of rehab I wouldn't be willing to do for a $6M salary :chuckles:

But you're (probably) not a moody 7-footer with $70 M to his name who just wants to bowl and watch some soccer without damn crutches.
