The young fellas should be getting playing time now, but knowing Mikey B, the "veterans" will get more playing time.
He wanted to prove he could come back.. The true determination was there this offseason.. I question whether he has the true mental resolve to play with pretty decent levels of pain. Which is what it would take for him to continue on. It's an issue more than a few deal with in their careers. If he's financially secure for life, and doesn't want to be a guy living in pain forever, or requiring hard pain meds to get through the grind... Let it go. That's my advise to AB. This is the first step towards that I believe. Time for an honest evaluation of himself.
There's no amount of rehab I wouldn't be willing to do for a $6M salary :chuckles:
