I'm from the East Coast but all my relatives live in Los Angeles so they all follow the Lakers. As a result, I've watched most of the Laker games. Trust me we do not want Ariza. He's a great roleplayer but not the third star in our Lebron-Shaq combination. Ariza produced his numbers with 3 all-star level players in Kobe, Odom, and Gasol. He won't produce any better than he did this past season. We should use our MLE on a player like Rasheed Wallace, Antonio McDyess, etc. and hope to maybe split that with Grant Hill or something.

I think he's counting how many championships he's won as opposed to our zero.
We shouldn't resort to personal attacks against our enemy team's player. I get frustrated when people bash LeBron for walking out without any post-game congratulations when we lost the Orlando series.

If we get Ariza, I will be happy. Artest would have been better because he can play multiple positions, but Ariza will fit in well, especially if he continues to improve his shooting. And why does the player we sign have to be our third best player? How many teams get a guy at MLE who is their third best player? Not many. Our top 5 options will be:
