wow it gets a little crazy now. he mentions that we could get ron artest because with yao possibly out or the season that houston might not want to resign him. he said that ron would love to play with lebron and shaq and that it isn't even out of question that he might sign a one year mle deal....he also talked about villanueva a bit and that detroit might have some interest in him...i keep you updated perhaps there will be a link of that interview later

Broussard was on Roda came across Artest. Said this could change how Houston reacts after knowing Yao will be out for the season or forever. Said Houston might let McGrady contract expire and rebuild to have a crack in 2010. Why pay Ron Artest when your going to have to rebuild cause of Yao's injury? Also said he would love to play with Lebron/Shaq and If Houston dont resign him that Cleveland is the only choice. Sac,OKC,Mem,Det,Atl would not be good fits for Artest. Could play for the MLE and might have to If Houston dont resign him.

My thoughts

-Shaq+lebron drawing soo much attention now...Nice

-So if this happens,we would play with a small line-up to start which im glad b/c lebron & artest are good,big,strong guys lol...

SO a very good question is...If we had the option who would you pick,ron ron or villa?

-I pick ron ron b/c he can do what villa do+defend

Jump on the BANDWAGON....Haha I wish we had some more cap space. I'd love Artest...we need to chill and not offer the MLE just yet on Villa now. Artest is a good option to consider. We could sign-and-trade Andy for Artest and filler....

Boy, that would be ridiculously nasty. Can you imagine the defense with Lebron and Ron?

I mean seriously that would be some ridiculous defense. Ron can take some ill advised shots but damn, if he signed for the MLE forget it - CLE could win 70 games.

You might even be able to get away with playing Ron at PF against alot of teams..

Much rather have Charlie V than Artest, and without a S&T we can't do both.

Artest is an undersized PF..I would love to have him as LeBron's backup, but we have to get a starting PF first..We have to try to get CV31 first. Artest is a PF in a SF body, but he's not tall enough to play the PF position on our team.

Join the club Artest. It wouldn't surprise me at this point if Karl Malone wanted to come out of retirement for a championship crack. Everyone and their mother comes out of the woodwork wanting a piece of a team like this... and that's a damn good thing.

For real tho, if we got Ron we would be an absolute nightmare to opposing teams. I'm going to hold off on getting too excited though. I've been let down by rumors like this in the past (AMARE Watch 09)
