lol at saying that Peyton Manning could’ve had 10 Super Bowl wins
He’s the original poopy diaper baby in the playoffs. Some of his past performances would make Goff blush
There has never been a wider variation in Qb play than regular season Peyton Manning to postseason Peyton Manning
I’ll never forget when he threw the ball directly into grahams’ chest to lose his first ever playoff game for Denver
The guy turned into a pumpkin pretty consistently at the biggest moments. He wasn’t winning 6 Super Bowls in Brady’s exact situation. Actually if those 2 flipped then Brady would’ve likely won 6 with the Colts while people said “but if only Peyton had weapons like Wayne, Harrison, Clark, and James!”
That Seattle one was bad.... I'm not going to shit on him for his last SB. He was pretty much done, just like Brady is getting close to being done too.
But man, we just read takes that Brady has to be disqualified from the GOAT discussion because at age 41, he didn't play very well in one game. So silly.
Yet Peyton Manning, when coming off a 55 Td season, was really, really bad in the SB. 8 points. Yes, Seattle was awesome, but that was a bad performance. Really bad.
So, he must be disqualified? (of course I'm not really arguing that).
Just so easy to cherry pick and point to a few games where greats were really bad.
Montana had some real stinkers too. Rodgers has had quite a few in the post season. I can point to any great player, and show a game or series they weren't quite on par.
Got go by body of work, not one damn game. That game last night wasn't going to make or break Brady's legacy. Just in the eyes of people that want to hate him and already have their mind made up.
I'll get off this topic. It's ran its course by now.
