Bias In Media

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Left wing bias = Not willing to print stuff because Trump says so

Read the whole article, only state-run TV mentioned was the quote from the attendee saying he didn't think the Democratic leaders would appear.

State-Run Media is typically government forced broadcasts and/or a "Propaganda Channel" (this is where you wittily say Fox News is already a Propaganda Channel). That notion wasn't offered by anything said, someone completely made it up on their own, and now folks are trying to make that made up nugget news.

I guess my question for you is, doesn't this seem like a disingenuous take on the article? That was a sub point to the entire article, and even then, not supplied by Scaramucci or The White House. Just the sardonic take from an attendee and then the tweet makes THAT the story? Gotta make it sound really nefarious!

As a guy who's not married to Trump and tries to look at things objectively, making shit up like this takes away from legitimate concerns. It adds to the noise of disbelief.

Majority Of Voters Slam Media's Coverage Of Trump: 'Too Negative'

According to Zogby, a total of 57% of likely voters think the media's coverage of Trump is "too negative"; 44% disagree. Despite all the identity politics, Zogby found that a majority of women and a slim majority of African-Americans also said that the media was simply too harsh.

Even among the Democrat-leaning sub-groups, a large percentage criticized the media. Here's the breakdown of some of the traditionally Democrat-leaning sub-groups highlighted by Zogby:

    • Women —55% yes / 45% no
    • African-Americans — 51/49
    • Lower income earners (less than $25k annually) — 50/50
    • Western voters — 49/51
    • Younger voters (18-29-year-olds) — 44/56
In other words, among these five traditionally Democrat-leaning groups — which should have a generally negative attitude toward Trump — more than 4 in 10 of them believe the media is overtly biased against Trump. That's yet more evidence that the establishment media is in the midst of a massive credibility crisis. The MSM could help themselves if they would simply cover Trump straight, but as they've demonstrated repeatedly, they're either unable or unwilling to just report the facts.

For sure, Polls like Statistics get twisted to tell whatever story someone wants to tell. It's tough, because we don't have the benefit of time, as in Science, to develop theories, test, prove, etc. ; each issue. So you really need a trusted source. This, however, puts us right back into the same place we are w/ media and such.

“He who controls the past controls the future. He who controls the present controls the past. - George Orwell, 1984”

When this level of skepticism is levied at a construct, that by its own design, has the potential to change the control of power every 4 years; how do we ever satisfy the burden of what is true?

No dude, rage against the machine is responsible for that quote. End of the matrix.

I can believe that. It does get out of hand with the analysis of minutiae.

There is no need to exaggerate Trump. He'll give everyone plenty of major soundbites to use.

Seriously! If he's half as bad as everyone says he is, and he's half as stupid as everyone says he is, then we really shouldn't have to fabricate things, right? The Sword of Hyperbole should be able to see it's Sheath, no? Yet, blood flows down its blade everytime @AZ_ posts a new tweet! :p

Let's not act like his actions aren't terrible just because the media is hyper sensitive
