Speaking of Vegas, this will be the first year in a really loooong time that I will be keeping an eye out and watching the games if they are on TV.

There's no downside to vetting this kid. Hopefully it works out and we see him giving us reasons to lock him down and start his NBA development. At the moment he looks to be the poor man's MPJ (but without the medical red flags).

He changed high school a bunch of times and made some bad decisions. Someone said that the word they got on him was that he might stick with his 3rd team. Might be some mental weakness here.

He was disappointed he didn't get respect in Europe day 1 for instance.

Yeah it is completely unknown. People are making guesses here. That comment about his 3rd team is all we have really. Teh reason he wasn't drafted was that he is a complete unknown. I can't imagine he made a great impression during interviews at hte combine or someone would have spent a 2nd round pick on him I think. I would have. The guy's shooting and body are amazing and he rebounds.

People are just guessing that he has some person issues I think.

I don’t understand why the Cavs didn’t just sign Preston rather than inviting him to play with them in summer league? If he plays well then all the sudden they’re going to have a bidding war on their hands. I think we all know that this is not a very cap-friendly team, at this point.
