That’s not me.

I have one alt and I think I created it during the fireside chats. Haven’t used it since. May not have even posted.

I bet @Randolphkeys can look and confirm.

Now he’s just setting me up.

One thing I'm so impressed by is the sheer competency of the team, top to bottom. Berry and Stefanski have hired the right staff top to bottom and every position group is in a position where the young guys can come in, fill a role competently, and then improve their skills from there. So many examples of it happening throughout the roster:

  • Obviously the O-line is #1 (thank you Callahan!). So many examples here. Jed Wills switches sides in a covid offseason and doesn't miss a beat as a rookie, Wyatt Teller ascends to elite, Michael Dunn goes from NFL castoff to dominating Cam Heyward, Blake Hance comes in off the street and looks confident... Let's hope a year with them allows James Hudson to be our future RT. It would be amazing if we could become an NFL O-line factory where we can trade our depth for picks and keep letting the older vets go with young talent ready to replace them.
  • In the WR room with Chad O'Shea, DPJ comes in as a rookie and is incredibly efficient in a small role, then is at the beginning of (hopefully) ascending to the next stage. Demetric Felton comes in as a 6th round rookie and is immediately able to make plays, and Davion Davis comes in and dominates in the pre-season to the point that he may be a future PS candidate.
  • RB: D'Ernest Johnson had to step in for Nick Chubb last year and did a very commendable job at it.
  • DL: Elliott came back from an awful rookie year and has shown much better flashes this preseason, and of course Malik McDowell.
For most of the LBs and secondary, we'll just have to see, but we're in a great position where we can be a team that coaches guys up like this. The only way for sustained success in the NFL is if you can continually do this, as even a hot streak in the draft dies down eventually and those guys get expensive after a few years.
