Browns rant thread.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If OSU had some sort of Santonio Holmes/Terry Glenn/David Boston/Joey Galloway/Cris Carter level reciever coming out? I'd be jumping for joy and BEGGING the Browns to draft a guy like that.

Because that's what this team needs more than anything really.

But I don't know if I'd take a guy over Calvin Ridley, Christian Kirk or Equanimeous St. Brown per the mock drafts I've seen.

Hell even a Zeke/Eddie George/Keith Byars level back coming out. I'd take that. I think it would help this team immensely.

When does it become acceptible to completely give up on your home team? The level of hell-shit this team is spewing last and this year is atrocious. And the bigger issue is i see no light at the end of the tunnel. A buddy and I both die hard Clevelanders / Cleveland sports fanatics are seriously looking around at other teams right now like if your wife becomes so fat and disgusting to the point of no return and you are seeing whats out there before divorcing her ass.

IF THEY BRING IN POLIAN, GIVE UP.

I mean you can try...but it's a hollow feeling.

I tried becoming a Colts fan for like a week in 2006, and something just didn't sit right about it. Even with strong Indiana roots? I had no connection to the franchise, no friends that liked, nor any family. All of them were IndyCar, Purdue fans, sure. But none of them had any connections.

This franchise is a miserable one, but it's a shared misery with some of the people I've considered the closest in the world. Christ, the first time I got hammered nice and good was during a draft party.

I'm stuck with this team until they move really.

FUCK THIS MOVE, IF THEY BRING IN POLIAN'S DUMB ASS I'LL BE PISSED.

A guy that built the Buffalo Bills near dynasty, built a 90's Panther team that was actually "relevant" right off the bat, helped win the Colts a Super Bowl is a dumb move? He's in the Hall of Fame for christ's sake.

Not a dumb move. I'd take that all day long. I'd also accept a guy like Bill Parcells, Charlie Casserly and others.

You really start questioning your sanity. Or at least, I have. Like why am I still doing this (following the Browns)? Like you gotta be a crazy person to keep wasting your time with this shit.

I really did think about this the other day. My answer is my Dad. He is the only connection I have with the Browns. Without him they'd be completely dead to me. Worthless.

Or Michael Thomas!

*shoots self in head*

Tank for Dobbins 2020? Shit what about Kareem Hunt (from Cleveland, went to Toledo)

Who are we kidding, Browns will continue passing on elite homegrown talent for lesser players.

Go look at his draft track record in Indy, it was ATROCIOUS. The game passed him by about 18 years ago.

The Browns may have had more hits over the last 3 years than he did his entire team with Indy. Peyton made that team, not the other way around.

Yeah, fuck Bill Polian. Dude is a dinosaur.

He was unable to understand the concept of the Osweiler + 2nd rounder trade.

The idea of getting a 2nd round pick without giving up A N Y T H I N G was just way too much for him to handle, so he decided to rip the Browns apart for it.

Or Michael Thomas!

*shoots self in head*

Michael Thomas would have been awful here. He's a WR who struggles to get separation in the NFL, which has mostly been overlooked because he's got one of the best quarterbacks of all time throwing him the ball in perfect spots. He'd look like a JAG on the Browns.

Lol hiring Bill Polian would be like hiring Jim Paxson because he drafted LeBron.

Polian is fucking senile at this point.

That's as scorching a hot take as I've ever seen
