Bulls

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I haven't done drugs in 10 years. And what are you referring to? The Rose comment? I was being sarcastic, I know it's hard to detect sarcasm on the Internet.

Hinrich had a God-awful season last year. He is one of the most overrated players in the NBA. Gordon is the only guy who I wouldn't be completely pissd off at, he can score. But he is small and we would be losing quite a bit on D.

No Bulls!

hinrich is a pretty good PG. one bad season?? wo lets grab are pitch forks and chase him down. also his bad season is way better then 95%of the guys on are team.

One bad year on a bad team does not a career make, as Hype stated previous. Does that mean Kirk Hinrich is the next coming of Mark Price? No. But he IS a purer point guard than anyone on our roster. That said, his contract is atrocious. 5 years and 47 million, I believe. With 4 years left? (Not sure of the numbers and I just got done mowing the yard so I'm too lazy to look it up) Not sure the production he would provide would be worth almost 10 million a year.

Always an idea to keep tucked away though, if I'm playing General Manager. But here is one thing to remember. Just because a player is available, or being shopped, it doesn't mean that the CAVS have to get that player, or will be able to. Lots of people on this board hang on every rumor, every snippet and glimmer of hope that we might acquire every good player that has ever been whispered about being shopped around. Then get upset when it doesn't happen. It's sorta ridiculous.

I look past the contract. it shows lebron we are trying.

Looking past the contract is like saying look past the fact she is an ugly fata$$. But guys Hindrick has a great personality. Guess what wont work.

Kirk Hinrich is trying? I would leave the team if thats the best we can do. Just say no to Kirk. Overpaid, Overrated. He is not the answer. We need an improvement at sg, not a marginal improvement at pg at most likely more than what west and gibson will make together.

Agree with Lee on Hinrich... 100%.

The Bulls aren't going to trade Thabo... He's shown promise and his perimeter defense is an assets that they like...

Ben Gordon is not leaving Chicago... I'd love him here but there is nothing that they would want on the Cavs team that could convince them to gives us the type of player we need...

Larry Hughes...uggh.

I think the one interesting name is Andres Nocioni... If they really want to pay Luol Deng, what sense to it make to pay his backup (well swing forward) 8 million a year? Yeah he's a nice player but he's not that nice... With Ben Gordon and Luol Deng probably getting big contracts, I think Nocioni could be on his way out...

I'd love to get Nocioni here but I think he'd be a waste here... We already have LeBron at the 3 and Wallace, Hickson and Smith at the 4... The two positions he can play are basically already stacked with guys that can contribute...

Summary: there will be no Bulls coming to the Cavs this year, period.

yeaa i like nocioni, but as you said...theres just no room for him

yeaa i like nocioni

The team still sort of needs a front court player that can shoot with range. Nocioni could do that. But doesn't Lebron dislike Nocioni?

I could see the Cavs possible looking at trading Varejao for Thabo, but the Bulls would have to sweeten the deal somehow. Right now Thabo isn't exactly taking the NBA by storm. The Cavs would be much better off getting a shooting guard that can shoot.

Hinrich kept drifting in and out of our trade discussions last year with the trade we ended up making ...just couldn't find the way under all the time constraints to get it to work ...now maybe we can revisit where we were and try and see if a way exists to get Hinrich here ...we'll see.

i'd prefer to get a shooting guard and the Bulls don't really seem to have anyone who'd really fit the Cavs' needs.

I've always thought Hinrich would fit well here. I wouldn't mind bringing him here. I wouldn't expect that to be the only major addition though.
Hinrich had a down year last year but I'd expect him to bounce back in the right situation. His contract isn't great but not horrible. It's actually a descending contract where the amount drops lower each season.

be surprised if the Cavs were able to get him though.

I would like to see Sefolosha become a Cavalier but I don't see that happening....I would have even delt with them to get Sonny Weems before the shipped him to Houston(i think it was).

I do think Hinrich would fit into a nice rotation with West and Gibson but his contract is on the hefty side. I guess the good thing is it declines in money every year rather then going up.

this front office seems to have been always enamored with Hinrich like they were with Delonte (pre-trade).... I'd be surprised if he doesn't end up on the Cavs at some point with this front office.

Hinrich is a good buy-low candidate. He's not old. He's not crippled. His salary is high but not out of whack if he plays well. And most importantly the Bulls don't need him anymore.
