If we also get Melo, it will be PG who would end up playing at 2. LeBron at 3 and Melo at 4. When we want to go small, can just have someone like JR or Korver fill in there.I think on paper and as traditional Basketball senses says Butler is a better fit but I agree PG is the better fit for this team and against the warriors. Jimmy Butler has shined when the ball has been in his hands, he can play off the ball but some of the best he has played is when Rose was hurt. PG on the other hand has played some of his best when with Lance Stephenson and switching on and off the ball.
Assuming we get Melo too. The question is does LeBron become less effective if he is playing SG for stretches with PG or Melo at the 3/4? Is it more effective to have Butler playing his nature position at SG and keeping LBJ/Melo at the forward positions?
