Caris LeVert: Two More Years!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Is LeVert back in 2023-24?

  • Cavs can't afford the $$$ to keep him and nothing is going to change that

  • After bricking shot after shot in the playoffs, Koby washes his hand and lets LeVert walk

  • Only if he signs for something close to the MLE

  • If Caris plays well in the playoffs, the Cavs will offer big $$$ to keep him

  • KobyAltman! No one else on the team fills his role, so stop sitting on your hands!

He's really quite the luxury to have on this team

He's no Emoni Bates

Really like Caris as an individual. I like his game ok.

He played great after the break and he was good in the Knicks series.

I think I want him and Donovan playing together more. They had such a good dynamic when Darius was out.

His 3 pt shooting had been good on this team. Need more. Hope the new guys encourage him to let it fly

Not a great game tonight, but all his three makes were closely contested after a bailout pass. He also defended hard. He's the best of times and the worst of times, but he's also coming off the bench.

His playmaking was also still really strong.

His all around floor game was actually sorely needed. It’s just that his shooting was so damn bad that I don’t blame anyone for the frustration.

Someone above called it out, but that was absolutely a flashback to bad Caris. Those twisting midrange pull-ups he all but completely eliminated from his game last season and he was a way better player for it. It was like he completely forgot how well he played last season while eliminating that trash and tonight he went right back to it.

Hopefully it’s a quick correction and he continues to bring his strong all around game, while eliminating the drunken kungfu.

Cavs have a lot of players who deserve to get the ball in their hands more than Caris “Chucky McJumpers” LeVert. Seems like the Cavs almost have to trade him before the deadline for a mid second round pick and some filler salary.

Yeah, hopefully not the return of the Drunken Kung-Fu.

Without Rubio, you almost need to keep Caris... unless someone else can step up mightily, but at the same time, it really stinks we don't even have a 3rd big worth a lick... what a difference it would make to have someone that could be in the rotation that's reliable.

Came out sizzling tonight with 19 points on 8/10 shooting and I thought this was to balance out the Brooklyn game… only for him to then go 4/18 for the remainder of the game and 3/9 from the line.

I’m not mad about the 28 shots since Garland and Mitchell were out, I’m mad because it felt like they didn’t come in the flow of the game and he was a black hole - saw Strus visibility frustrated a few times off him draining the shot clock just to put up a contested shot. This would have been a great game to try and build the confidence of Okoro, Niang, and Wade by getting them some more shots.

His on-ball defense has been fairly solid, but have counted a few times his off-ball/after time-out defense has lead to either a wide open layup (positioning himself between his man and half court, not the basket) or a wide open three by just sagging off.

I believe Caris has a spot on this team as a 6th man, but look up “Consistently Inconsistent” and you’ll find a picture of Caris Levert.

While it's unnerving to see levert shoot cavs in and out of games, his defense is a pleasant suprise. Defended shai, haliburton and curry very well. Having him and okoro as POA defenders will be great in keeping darius and donovan fresh throughout the season.

His 3pt shot looks fantastic. He's getting it up fast. Kudos to him. He still has some wild possessions but his off ball play has been great

I’m not the biggest Caris fan but..if Mobley continues to stink it up on offense we may really need LeVert to become our 3rd option when the going gets tough…
