Windy suggested a deal around these two today on The B.S. Report. He suggested Cousins, Patrick Patterson for Bosh.

Kind of a weird trade. Gotta love the guy, but Windy has weird trade ideas.

Half the time I think Windy doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about. I think he's had some great moments and people give him the benefit of the doubt in remembrance of that greatness, but as of recently I don't think he's that much better than any of his other ESPN colleagues.

Being a good writer/journalist and being a good talent evaluator are two entirely different things. So he makes up dumb trade proposals. Doesn't make him a worse journalist. He's just like 90% of the RCF trade threads.

Thing is, I don't think Windy is a good journalist. I think his journalistic talent and instinct has taken a back seat to his job as a promoter during his tenure with ESPN. His fealty to the Miami Heat and his role as Chief Apologist for LeBron James makes that fairly clear to me.
