Cavs close to multiple trades? (Hoopsworld Speculation)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Not to jump on you or anything, but I need to clear this misconception up. I don't know where it started but it has spread by wildfire all across every forum I've read..

THERE IS NO RULE PREVENTING YOU FROM INCLUDING MULTIPLE PLAYERS ALONG WITH A SIGNED/TRADED PLAYER IN A TRADE. IT DOESN'T EXIST.
Correct, and just to add, the reasoning for this is quite simple. A sign and trade is not technically a single move (though it's seen as one), but rather two distinct moves. The player is first signed with a clause in the contract that if they are not traded within 48 hours, the contract is void. Then the player is traded.

Williams makes roughly as much as Mo does over the next few years...and he isn't nearly as good right now. Does he have the potential to be? Sure...but it seems like he would have started to show something by this point, and averaging less than 10 a game while starting every single game isn't showing anything.

The NBA has become more so about potential than actual talent, especially the draft. Your always going to see some busts in any professional draft, but come on...the NBA draft seemingly is about 75% busts every year now, with only the top 5 players making any significant impact first and second year.

I agree that Marvin should have showed more. But ATL had no structure and with guys like JJ, Josh Smith, Horford, and Crawford, there arent many extra pts to get.

Moved this thread to Trade Rumors because it's mainly speculation and rumors about possible trades. And the discussion about possible Cavs/Hawks business iis going strong in http://www.realcavsfans.com/showthread.php?t=32896

If other active trade talk is reported (for Jefferson or other targets), please feel free to post a new thread in CavsTalk.
