The talent disparity is pretty amazing. I think the Cavs have the clear-cut best four players in the series (at least in playoff basketball, which is a different animal), and our second tier guys are close to their first tier. And we're talking about a 50+ win team, here.

How would you guys rank, say, the Top 15 guys in this series? I'm talking strictly in terms of the playoffs and ranking guys by what they bring to the table when the games kick up a notch. Regular seasons clearly mean nothing to the Cavs.

1. LeBron James
2. Kyrie Irving
3. Kevin Love
4. Tristan Thompson
5. Al Horford
6. Kyle Korver
7. JR Smith
8. Isaiah Thomas (respect, though he is maybe the worst defensive player ever)
9. Avery Bradley
10. Deron Williams (could be higher)
11. Iman Shumpert
12. Jaylen Brown
13. Channing Frye
14. Marcus Smart
15. Jae Crowder

Fair?

Celtics tears are especially tasty.

They're Magically Delicious!

With Thomas out, it's all over now.

If the Warriors win tonight (which seems assured with Kawhi out), the Cavs should just wrap things up fast in 4, focus on resting guys a lot to avoid injuries, and start gameplanning for Golden State.

The only thing I care about now is getting out of a series with the Green Goons without getting an injury.

Kyrie sounded amazing last night in his postgame comments. He's totally locked in. I'm not worried about him or his knee any longer. Here's the video:

We just need to stay focused and stay conditioned now. We should have 8 days off until The Finals and we want to be as sharp as possible for Game 1 and try to steal it if we can.

I'd rank IT higher in a vacuum, but there's no denying the Cavs, when Kyrie is here to play D, are just a bad match-up for him. The Cavs can throw four guys at him that can stick with his speed and are so much bigger (Kyrie, JR, Shump, Deron), then they can switch TT and LBJ onto him. Hell, even Love has proven himself a capable one-on-one defender.

I think what stands out more to me is that David Griffin was 100% correct when he said the Cavs were built for playoff basketball. They're a team full of vets that just know how to play the game on both sides. Look no further than who they bring off the bench. Maybe the world's best shooter, the former 2nd best PG in the league, one of the best big man shooters in the league, an elite 3 and D wing (when he's locked in), and a do everything wing that's been playing on the biggest stage since his rookie year. Then you get to the last three spots, and you have two pro's pros in Dahntay and JJ, and the former #2 pick, a 25-year old athlete that can play four positions.

Contrast that with what the Celtics, Raptors, Pacers, and, since Beal likes to talk, the Wizards bring off their bench.... it's no contest.

You want to know how you can tell that LeBron ripped Boston's soul out? They didn't even try to muck up the game by playing dirty in game two like they usually do when they face some adversity. They just rolled over like a submissive dog.
Stockholm syndrome in full effect!

When I read the IT news o said that sucks out loud. They are no threat with him but I can only imagine the excuses they are going to use now once they are eliminated

With Thomas in we set the NBA playoff record for lead at a half on the road. The series was over in the second quarter of game two when the Celtics just quit and stopped even pretending to fight back. Granted, it was over before that anyway, as the Cavs are just better, but that was the moment we broke Boston.

I honestly always forget Jae Crowder was a former Cavs draft pick lol.

With IT out they should realize their playoff hopes are effectively done. If we come out with our same intensity in games 1 and 2 and build a sizeable early lead, they may just lay down and we can finish this quick and start prepping for the Warriors.

If we play down to the competition (which let's be honest the Cavs have been prone to do from time to time) and the game is a close one where Boston feels like they can steal one out of "pride" it just opens up the door for Boston's brand of "we're not going down without a fight" basketball (aka cheap shots and dislocated arms). Hopefully it doesn't come to that.

LMAO...
Brad Stevens. So how do you feel IT?

I.T. I feel like James Harden but worse and I am tiny and the Refs did not give me the calls I get *starts crying* to... make me look better.

Stevens. DO not worry we will pretend like you were hurt so people with think the Cavs are not as good and we still have guys who will play dirty and turn this into shit show. Mean while you go get some ice cream and know you are are a BIG BOY!

I.T. Yeah I am! What kind of ice cream did you get me!?!

Stevens. Your favorite women picked it out for you!

I.T. YAY!

He flopped and his whole team more than fish out of water. Like when Smart held up LeBron and flopped trying to bait Bron then pounded the floor like he got him ejected LMAO. That and the I.T sideways flop were my favorite ones from that series.

I don't feel sorry for IT one bit. He was the same guy who tried to hurt Love the first game of the series. They have players that continuously try to hurt players. At the same time IT would be playing if they were going up against the Raptors or Pacers. Lebron has players shook whether they want to admit it or not.
I hope they shutdown Jaylen Brown too. It seems like Brown is the new Stanley Johnson.

I really wanted to play the Wizards just to shut people up. I think the Cavs would have swept the Wizards too.
