So do we wear the Black unis on Wednesday?

The regular season was the time to think about "hey we have just one playable center on the squad so maybe we should also develop Zizic". No way Lue throws Zizic in a playoff game after giving him so little PT all season.
You forget he did play him against Toronto. He can still play him.
Cedi played a lot during the regular season and against Toronto and hasn't against Boston.
That's strickley on Lue.

Yeah, and the problem is that reduces options if the other team's game plan starts working. The more competent players you can mix and match, the more likely you are to find a combination that works in a given situation. But Lue decided prior to the playoffs that having the option to have a true center, and a hustle, plus-defending wing who can guard 1-3, isn't something he needed.

It seems we pay a cost for defensive intensity and effort on the offensive end in terms of missed shots and turnovers later in the game.

Part of the turnover problem also comes from making risky passes into the tightest of windows, you win some and you lose some.

But if you play it safer do you risk having the offense go stagnant?

The more options we display, the more they need to game plan for. Limiting our rotations also makes it easier for the opposition coach to predict our lineups and plan on matchups and game plan.

It isn't a huge problem.
Look how he used TT against Horford last night.
And it worked..
Same thing can be done for short stretches with Zizic and Cedi.
Both can score but it's not something that has to be relied on.
Going into Boston, I would open up my rotations for key substitutions and squeeze what the Celtics can do.
There two issues last night.
1-Turnovers, cut those down.17 is way too much
2-Celtics were attacking the paint , specifically with Love/Korver being posted with little help D.
Has Lue also forgotten Calderon?

No, it can't.

The difference is that TT is a veteran who also got a shitload of minutes during the regular season, and throughout the playoffs. Zizic and Cedi are rookies for whom additional playing time -- both during the regular season and in the playoffs -- would have been invaluable to lessen the chance that they shit the bed if called upon in the playoffs.

Those guy are cold, not integrated at all with the other guys, and would not be nearly as effective as they could have been had they been better integrated. Cedi has played a whopping total of 49 minutes in 14 playoff games, and Zizic only 15 minutes. In the meantime, Rodney Hood has played 200 minutes, and Clarkson 222.

Please just get through. It would be horrendous if we failed to make the finals the same time as the Warriors miss out. I'd give us a legit shot v Houston, they'd be favourites but we'd have a shot and pressure can do things to players in finals. Though I don't expect Houston to get through anyway.

Game 5 is not going to be easy. LBJ dropped 44 points, and the C's still outscored us in the final 3 quarters of that game. And they're a much better team on the road than at home. They're young and dumb enough to let their crowd convince them that they actually have a chance.

We also had 10 more turnovers than them in game 5, which is what made it seem a lot close than it was.

They also missed 15 layups and dunks. We need to play much better, like game 3 better, to win in Boston.

too late now but zizic should have been made ready to play short stretches vs horford. 3 minute type stretches. Just to give horford something to adjust too, maybe zizic bang on him a little

cedi is ready and should be used for stretches now just for his energy and defense. Guarantee you stevens would utilize cedi
