Not looking ahead, but something weird... there's a realistic possibility that the Cavs play three central division foes to get back to the finals.

I also feel confident in saying Milwakee is better.

Personally, I think Giannis is a better player than George, but that's debatable. I, however, have no idea who guards him with if we continue to save LeBron. Hes entirely too big for Shumpert and Smith, and while he isn't the explosive offensive player George is, he will kill those two on the boards.

But more importantly, Middleton is way, way better than Indiana's second best player, and, with the way JR is playing, way better than our two guards.

Giannis is incredible, but not better than George for one simple reason. His jumpshot is nowhere near as reliable

The Bulls aren't beating Washington.

I picked WSH-CLE before the playoffs, and I'm very confident in that.

I'm firmly in the camp of Washington making the ECF. Just pointing out that that's a possibility... has that happened since they went to divisions?

I don't believe so. But it shows that our division is competitive, and that's great. Keep in mind, we also dropped a couple to Detroit, the only non-playoff Central team.

I've long thought that the Central is among the more underrated and tougher divisions in the league. Lots of quality there.

And what the hell happened to Detroit anyways? I thought they were primed for bigger things after playing us tough in the quarterfinals last year. The Pistons and Hornets are surely two of the more disappointing stories this season.

Reggie was hurt for the first quarter+ of the season, then never really reintegrated with the team upon returning. Plus their young guys didn't really take a step forward. It wouldn't surprise me if they jumped back into the playoffs this year.

Bottomline: the Central is the only division in the league with no easy games. The Atlantic has Philly, Brooklyn, New York and Boston (just kidding). The SE has Orlando. The Pacific has the Kings, Suns and Lakers. The NW has Minnesota. The SW has Dallas and New Orleans.

I wonder if we have a shot of tying or surpassing Detroit's record of 9 Division banners. Currently at 6...

People are still downplaying this Pacers team. I know I voted for us to boot these guys out the earliest number of games possible, but they're a team that can dispatch any other team in the Eastern POs right now. Except for us of course.

What is left as adjustments the pacers can make? They could try and force Irving and love to beat them and hope they are not effective enough. Double bron a bit. Not much they can do now

Totally agree the Pacers have been playing really well, PG13 has been insane and has hit some clutch shots time after time & never allowed his team be completely out of it, imo from what I'v seen the Pacers are definitely playing better than the Celtics,Raptors & maybe even the Bulls.

Our defense needs to improve and we need to close out games better when we have a lead, but you gotta give Pacers credit in this series, they've actually played really well & they're pushing us right now which is good for us going forward.

With everything that happened this regular season and about 40 games of total chill mode to end it it'll take us some time to really kick it into our maximum gear and kill all of those bad habits, but I think we'll slowly get there, baby steps

It is more difficult covering Paul George than both Wall and Giannis. For the sole reason that PG needs to be closed out everytime as he is a fucking sniper. You can't trap him all the tine because he is 6 9 and that makes the outlet a lot easier. He can come off the screen, do pick and rolls, play you one on one.

Wall is a dynamo but only if he can use his speed. With our offense clicking, there are limites opportunities for transition points, we can trap the hell out of him with Bronnie and that outlet pass will be a lot more difficult. He can get hot shooting mid ranges and threes but that is not his game and will stifle their offense.

Giannis is easier. Just make him shoot jumpers. Build a wall around him like what Boston did to Lebron previous years back and he will be a non factor. Just watch the game we had the last time against him nad he struggled mightily.

Well just leave those bums on the bench then.
