Man, the league is giving us the "or NBA TV" treatment? That's straight up disrespect right there.
On the contrary, we have it the best over all the other series. First off, ALL series have the option to be flexed to NBA TV for Games 5 and 6 (or ESPNNEWS in some series for Game 6), not just us. This is just a standard precaution so the networks can be sure they air the games people most want to see if multiple series extend that far.

But we are the only playoff series to have 2 guaranteed ABC games (which get the most eyeballs). We also don’t have any games aired on ESPN proper or ESPN2/ESPNNEWS, which is good for me because I like TNT better.

Some teams already know that they’re gonna be relegated to NBA TV for most of their series (the Raptors-Bucks series in particular is brutal), and if I had to bet, all of our “or NBA TV” games will end up on TNT instead if this isn’t a sweep. LeBron is just too big of a draw.

Will the playoff model be returning for this playoff season?

Yes it will! Planning on debuting it tomorrow.

That's just a filler. I would be willing to bet every series has that for the TBD games. It won't be on NBA TV.

Can't wait.

I've got a feeling the Cavs will go down 2-1 in this series.

Probably incredibly stupid and wrong, but it just feels like that's coming.

"I'm gonna have me some fun...I'm gonna have me some fun"

Can't wait for the excitement of playoff basketball. Watched the playoff game from 07 when LBJ lit up the Pistons for the last 27 or some odd points. Looked like we were out of that game a couple times. The ups and downs of the game are coming....ready for the ride.

Good tune up match up against the Pacers. They have a balance that will keep us on our toes. Will be some fun match-ups to key on...

Stop your pessimism Nate. I know where to find you.

Probably don't need LeBron's full offensive arsenal in this one. I'd rather he fill the role of facilitator and conserve himself on the defensive end as PG's assignment.

Shouldn't go more than 4-5 if Love and Irving can consistently do their part.

Raptors-Bucks series is probably the best first round series in the East just in a basketball sense, although they should all be good given how even the East is this year. But a boatload of talent in that series in particular.

I'm ready to be proven wrong in my predictions. I'm totally in a mode where they have to show me, though. I have no faith in these guys now whatsoever.

Did you seriously predict anything other than a win? Seeing as you said you wanna be proven wrong that's gotta be what you meant. Do you really think the Pacers can beat us barring a historically bad choke job?
It's crazy how ppl let the media get in their heads

I don't blame you

But cmon man don't disrespect the team

They are gonna steamroll the Pacers. Celtics and Wizards scare me way more

This is like community college
5th year high school

Another round of regular season IMO

/yawn

Hoping for some laughs

Hmmmm.... I thought we sleepwalked the first round against Boston and Detroit the last two years. We were able to get competitive sweeps in both of those series.

However, this is a much tougher series for us simply because of the Paul George factor. He will easily be the best player that we have faced in a playoff series in the East in the last two years. Sorry Kyle Lowry!

Lets make the following assumptions based on what we've seen during the 2nd half of the season.

Lebron comes to play in a major way

Kevin Love, JR, and Shump continue to look like crap

Kyrie comes to play and even brings some D

TT comes to play

Fry, Korver etc shoot pretty well and are marginal on the defensive end....

We win the series in 6 or 7 games or possibly even lose.

If EVERYONE comes to play and we do FLIP THE SWITCH then this series is done, finished over in 4.

I can't believe nine posters actually think the Cavs are going to lose four times in seven games to the Indiana Pacers

Don't question some people's superstitions. Casting my vote every series last year for the opponent to win in 4 games led to the Cavs winning a title. :chuckle:
